The SITOP PSU6200 is a versatile power supply for a wide range of applications.

The Siemens SITOP PSU6200 product line is an award-winning industrial design series of 1-phase and 3-phase power supplies with a slim, space-saving design, optimized terminals and comprehensive diagnostic capabilities. These features, combined with high reliability, offer a multitude of applications in different areas of operation. The power supplies are available, as mentioned earlier for 1-phase and 3-phase models. The group of single-phase power supplies includes models:

Smooth integration and quick diagnostics.

The SITOP PSU6200 uses an integrated diagnostic monitor that communicates how high the load of the power supply is and whether the device reaches a critical state via an LED display on the chassis. This enables continuous monitoring of the device's condition and prevents unforeseen installation failures. Via the diagnostic interface of the PSU, additional important operating parameters and states such as current, voltage, overload, operating time, temperature and the device/type can be transmitted to the controller and incorporated into the status monitoring. The signal is analysed by means of a free function block S7. Additionally, a front panel is available to visualize data on the HMI.

- evaluation by means of a pre-assembled function block as a ready-to-use code for SIMATIC S7-1200 and 1500 and display on the WinCC front panel

The space inside the control cabinet is an extremely valuable commodity both in design and use. Every electrician and automation specialist will appreciate the compact size of the new SITOP PSUUU6200, thanks to which the installation and connection of the cabling is extremely efficient as well as better use of available space. Terminal marking makes it much easier to connect cables correctly, and plug-in terminals speed up this process even more. Additionally, the marked minus terminal will improve the grounding of PELV circuits in accordance with the Machinery Directive. The unique design of the SITOP PSUU6200 provides an optimized heat dissipation which, together with a 96% efficiency factor of the power supply unit, makes the devices require no lateral component spacing, thus saving space on the DIN rail.

Effective operation. Highest reliability.

The optimal heat dissipation of the SITOP PSU6200 and its reliable operation ensure that the rated current is up to 50 percent higher in the event of an overload for up to 5 seconds. If the overload is very high, the SITOP PSU6200 keeps the current constant and switches to hiccup mode for automatic protection when the output voltage drops to 15V. After load correction, they continue normal operation. With a robust wide-range input for AC and DC voltages, the universal power supplies are well prepared for poor mains quality. The 400 V units even allow continuous operation in two phases in case of a phase failure. The high-power supplies also have an active power factor correction (PFC) function, which keeps the current reactive component low.
