24V DC PSU6200 power supply

Thanks to its parameters, the new family of SITOP PSU6200 power supplies will prove itself in every application. Apart from very good parameters, the PSU provides innovative diagnostic functions. Thanks to an additional diagnostic interface, which is available as standard on the PSU6200 10A and PSU6200 20A, you can easily read parameters such as load, voltage, operating time and temperature directly in the PLC system.

Main features of the PSU6200:

- power supplies take up less cabinet space
- simple and easy installation of cabling, push-in connectors
- choice of power supplies from small loads to large 20A power supply
- easy-to-use diagnostic interface for reading additional information in the PLC system (such as power supply status, load, operating hours counter or temperature)
- additional LEDs allow quick visual diagnostics of the power supply status (all units from 10A upwards)

Siemens PSU6200 power supplies also stand out in terms of safety:

- in case of an overload, the power supply goes into constant current mode
- safe connection, thanks to automatic detection of AC or DC input voltage
- optimization of inrush currents of the power supply
- constant overload capacity in the 120% range and extra power function allowing for a momentary much higher load of the PSU

SEL1200 - DC 24 V selective circuit protection module

This module is installed downstream of the 24 V DC power supply and distributes the power to 8 independently current-regulated load circuits. As with the PSU6200 power supplies, the SEL1200 8-channel protection module for the electronic 24 V DC power supply circuitry is also equipped with an additional diagnostic interface that, in addition to independent channel protection, monitors the channels simultaneously, making this information available to the control system. The control system can read such data as: currently set limits, current load on each of the 8 circuits individually, information about possible failures and reasons for disconnection of the circuit. SEL1200 selection modules also allow for higher, short-term overload currents. The higher the current, the faster the output is switched off. It is possible that the power supply is loaded for several milliseconds with a current that is significantly higher than that set. For 24 V loads with a high starting current, the switching characteristic curve even offers advantages, as what is applicable for switching off is also applicable for switching on. High currents are not limited, but can be admitted for a short time. In addition, two adjacent 10A outputs of the SITOP SEL1200 selective modules can be connected in parallel for a rated current of 15A.
